In-Home Care Rate Card

The hourly rate below covers the full cost of care — caregiver wages, supervision, training, intake, and the matching work that goes into every placement. No surprise add-on fees.

Honest, Up-Front Pricing

$28 – $32

per hour

Our caregivers are W-2 employees of Boots and Bricks — not independent contractors from a registry. That means the rate above covers a background-checked, supervised, locally matched caregiver along with the care coordination that keeps the relationship working over time.

Built Into Every Hour of Care

Three things set Boots and Bricks apart from placement services and registries. All of them are part of what you already pay.

👥

Caregiver Matching

Background-checked, locally matched caregivers for your family — chosen for fit, language, and temperament, not whoever is available that shift.

📋

Supervision

Ongoing oversight by a care coordinator who knows the work — regular check-ins, visit notes, and someone to call when something changes.

📅

Intake Assessment

A thorough in-home assessment before any contract is signed — mobility, medications, routines, household setup, and what matters most to your family.

About How the Rate Works

The rate varies slightly with level of care and hours per week. Lighter companion care sits closer to $28/hour. Higher-acuity personal care, overnight shifts, and live-in arrangements move toward $32. We'd rather quote you honestly after a short conversation than publish a single number that doesn't match your situation.
💼
Our caregivers are W-2 employees — not a registry. Every caregiver on a Boots and Bricks shift is paid through our payroll, covered by workers' compensation, and supervised by our care team. You don't become the employer, and you're never on the hook when a caregiver calls in sick.
💰
Medi-Cal and long-term care insurance are honored when applicable. We accept Medi-Cal and work with clients on fixed incomes. We also work with families who have long-term care insurance. Cost should never be the reason someone goes without the support they need — ask us about your specific situation and we'll find a path forward.
